Default Shortcut
By default, the Writing Assistant uses Control + Space. To use it:- Select text in an app
- Press
Control + Space - The Writing Assistant opens so you can rewrite, translate, or continue in chat
Change The Global Shortcut
- Open Settings -> Writing Assistant
- In Shortcut, click Change
- Pick a preset or record a custom shortcut

Mode Shortcuts
Snaply also supports shortcuts for specific assistant modes.- The first 9 enabled modes get default shortcuts like
Control + Space + 1,Control + Space + 2, and so on. - If a mode has its own custom shortcut, that custom shortcut takes priority.
- You can manage mode order and custom mode shortcuts from Settings -> Writing Assistant -> Assistant Modes.
Close the Writing Assistant
PressEsc to close the Writing Assistant window.
