Meeting Notes reuses the same transcription language choice as Dictation:
  • English
  • Multi-language
That means there is no second transcription-language setting to babysit. Changing the selector on Meeting Notes changes the same English or Multi-language model used by Dictation.

Supported Languages

Multi-language supports these 25 European languages:

Notes And Titles Follow The Meeting Language

By default, Snaply detects the meeting language from the transcript and asks the Writing Assistant model to write generated titles and notes in that same language. If the meeting is in Italian, German, Spanish, or another supported language, the generated output follows that language too.

Choose The Notes Language

Inside a processed meeting, the notes language can be left on Auto or set to a specific supported language. Use Auto for most meetings. Choose a specific language when the transcript contains multiple languages, product names, or short side comments that could confuse the output language. After changing the notes language, regenerate notes to rewrite the meeting summary in the selected language.

When to Use the Multi-Language Model

Choose the multi-language model when:
  • Your meetings are not English-only
  • Your team switches languages
  • You regularly record meetings in languages such as Italian, German, Spanish, or Russian

Where to Change It

You can change it from:
  • Settings -> Dictation
  • The language selector in the Meeting Notes setup card
