It is Snaply’s way of taking you from “what just happened?” to “here is the summary, here are the action items, and here is the follow-up email.” The main pieces are the transcript, templates, Ask AI, and optional import/export workflows.

Meeting Notes is local-first.Meeting recordings and transcripts stay on your Mac. With the built-in local Writing Assistant model, generated titles, AI notes, and Ask AI can stay local too.

Good To Know

  • Meeting Notes is labeled Beta in the app.
  • Speaker separation is available with the meeting diarizer on macOS 15 or newer.
  • Meeting Notes does not have a default shortcut until you assign one.
  • Automatic meeting detection can be turned off in Settings -> Meeting Notes.
