Your meeting should not end with a blank page. Meeting Notes turns a live conversation into something usable:
  • A saved recording
  • A transcript
  • Structured notes
  • Speaker-aware transcript turns when supported
  • Follow-up work through Ask AI
It is Snaply’s way of taking you from “what just happened?” to “here is the summary, here are the action items, keep going.” The main pieces are the transcript, templates, and Ask AI.

What You Actually Keep

  • The audio recording on your Mac
  • The transcript
  • The generated title
  • Structured notes from the selected template
  • Ask AI conversations linked to that meeting

The Main Pieces

How It Works

Understand recording, transcription, diarization, and note generation.

Templates

Pick or build note structures that match the kind of meeting you run.

Ask AI

Ask follow-up questions, draft emails, and keep a meeting-specific AI chat.

Transcripts And Speakers

Search the transcript, rename speakers, and review who said what.

Multi-Language

Reuse your Dictation language choice for English or 25 supported European languages.

Recording Controls

Start from the app, tray, live indicator, or an optional shortcut.

Privacy

Meeting recordings and transcripts stay local on your Mac.Generated titles, notes, and Ask AI follow your current Writing Assistant model:
  • With a local Writing Assistant model, those stay local
  • With a cloud Writing Assistant model, transcript text is sent to the provider you selected

Good To Know

  • Meeting Notes is labeled Beta in the app.
  • Speaker separation depends on the diarizer setup and supported macOS versions.
  • Meeting Notes does not have a default shortcut until you assign one.
